The role will be to:

Information Systems Auditor is an entry level position in Deloitte Enterprise Risk Services department. IS Auditor focuses on impact of IT management processes on companies' operations and processing of financial information.

Typical IS Audit project includes assessment of such areas as IS Operations, Information Security, Application Development and Change Management. IS Audit projects also require involvement in understanding and assessment of business processes. IS Auditor may also be requested to perform specialized procedures such as data analysis, interrogation and reconciliation.

As a result of work performed IS Auditor identifies, evaluates and reports the extent to which IT risks affect the reliability of company's operations and processing of financial information. Typical IS Audit project may last up to several weeks. Depending on the project scale IS Auditor either manages all stages of the project by him/herself or acts as a project team member/leader.

We are seeking to recruit a motivated Information Technology (IT) Graduate with up to three years' work experience, to be based in our Moscow office.

The role will be:

• Data Processing & Storage - The successful candidate will be working as an integral part within a small team of Geologists and will utilise his or her IT skills to support the process of collecting, interpreting and inputting geological data (obtained in a variety of raw formats) into a proprietary Oracle database. This will form a significant part of the job scope.
• Product Development - This will include working with our IT and GIS specialists around the globe to enhance and tailor our existing offerings and bring new products to fruition.
• Advisory - To assist on advisory projects within the upstream oil and gas sector by lending relevant expertise.
• Primarily office based but international travel may be required.

The successful candidate should have:

• Bachelors or Masters Degree in Information Technology
• Strong client focus and good client inter-facing skills and
• Attention to detail and a professional demeanour.

The following attributes would also be advantageous:

• Strong communication skills (written and oral English)
• Advanced skills in GIS (ESRI and MapInfo), Oracle databases, Microsoft Excel and Access.
